“Gummy bears instead of tea”
is our motto at the edelschmiede! – Incited by an entry on the OHF, we are heralding the beginning of the “winter-time-is-over-period” immediately and instead of delivering the popular ‚edelschmiede’s edelkirsche‘ tea, we will once again be delivering wine gums with every order! Today, Mrs edelschmiede arrived at the firm with a huge basket full of ‘Lachgummis’. Which means that starting tomorrow we will send out a little piece of summer with every delivery!
Although summer,
is yet to be seen around the edelschmiede! All day it rained and stormed and the weather this evening still hasn’t improved enough to be worthwhile for an Opel rear-wheel drive. The edelschmiede Ascona 4.0i – 24V is back in her garage, still smeared with the remains of insects from her last excursion to Wedel on the 1st of May. Unfortunately, there was a small problem with getting MOT approval. However, this matter will almost certainly be soon forgotten, as the outing to the fair was so delightful, that I am no longer able to give up this car.
The work in the edelschmiede,
or more specifically the afore mentioned new inventory control system, isn’t making life any easier during the set-up process: some of our best-sellers are still missing from the eBay shop. Sorry for that, but you are of course welcome to order the spare- & tuning parts directly from us per email, as the parts are naturally still on our shelves regardless. 🙂 We are also making progress with new parts. As soon as all the tried and tested products are back online in the eBay shop, we will be introducing new things for Opel Manta, Ascona, Kadett & Co. Above all, seals will be making an appearance. We have had several popular seals reproduced, naturally as paper seals in original quality, some of these are already available online.
And with that I will leave off from this small insight into our daily operations. Please remember to mention the MOT-approval for my Ascona in your evening prayers tonight, as well as a wish for better weather!
Yours truly, Thomas 😉
